Inspired by the "Two Boxes of Oranges and Admonia Jackson" instillation in Alexandria, this piece honors an enslaved woman with no recorded identity, yet possibly my ancestor.
Through this work, I imagine her spirit, her strength, and her authenticity, giving voice to a legacy that history tried to erase.
